A FAMILY AFFAIR

Almost immediately after setting up the company Keith’s eldest daughter, Carol, came on board and soon after that, Keith’s youngest daughter Sarah also joined ranks.

Their roles mainly involved on-site bureau work and the production of management accounts. Obviously roles and responsibilities have since changed and although Carol is still a major part in the book-keeping services, Sarah is now purely responsible for the production of our own accounts.

Nearly 14 years ago, Keith made it a hat-trick when his Son, also Keith but known to many as KJ, joined the business.

Keith’s wife Brenda is a part-time member of the team and indispensable as the administration demands grow.

The last addition in family terms is Roger, who also happens to be Sarah’s husband. Roger joined the business about 6 years ago deciding he wanted a career change. He is now responsible for the smooth running of the engineering team and although not technical himself, is a fundamental member of the team, is extremely friendly and committed to fantastic customer service.

The company as a whole works like a family unit with all members of staff working together and aiming for the same goal - to offer an excellent level of service and commitment to all customers. With these six family members among the company’s 15 staff, customers can certainly be assured of receiving a personal service! So much so that Keith still visits his very first customer each month to produce their profit and loss reports.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Customer service is the company’s first priority and undoubtedly the key to Balanced Solutions’ success; it was certainly uppermost in Keith’s mind at the outset. Keith explains: “I wanted to offer a complete service to truly support all my customers. To achieve this I had to first become master of each product I supplied, so no matter what the problem - I was the solution. This philosophy is still at the core of the company. 20 years ago I looked at the marketplace, chose Sage and have stayed committed to their product range ever since. What a decision - today Sage are the World’s leading accounting business software provider.” Back then it was no problem for a one man band to service a client with it’s IT needs, but today, with sophisticated Software, Hardware and associated IT technology Keith has built up a dedicated team of 15 professionals to ensure his original customer service aims are met.

Our Accounting division is made up of a team of 9 technicians and all are hugely experienced in the training and implementation of the Sage and Datafile range of products.

Not interested in running your Accounts system in-house? No problem as we have also been providing Bureau work for over 20 years, and currently service a wide range of clients within Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

To compliment the above, we have a dedicated team of highly technical engineers that maintain the IT infrastructure required to support modern day systems.
